I started Chai Diaspora because I missed the little things.
The smell of mustard seeds popping in a faraway kitchen. The rhythm of a festival playlist in the middle of a PNW winter. The feeling of being from everywhere, but not fully from anywhere.
As a writer and brand strategist who moved continents, I found myself collecting stories—mine and others'—that didn’t quite fit into a neat box. I created this space for all of us who live in the in-between. For those who want to hold on to where they come from while making room for where they’re headed.
Here, I write, curate, and build a community that’s as flavorful as a cup of masala chai—layered, spiced, familiar, and always inviting.
